Set in a quiet lane in an elevated position in the stunning village of Vouvant with its cafes, shops and galleries, the charming semi-detached cottage sleeps 4.
The spacious double aspect lounge boasts superb views of the village and the kitchen diner with exposed beams and stone wall is fully equipped with integrated appliances.
Upstairs are the two pretty bedrooms, a double and twin, along with the tiled shower room. Bed linen is provided. Towels are not included but can be made available for a small charge. Central heating means all year availability. Outside the veranda has a wooden table and chairs and a garden with a seating area. Two adult bikes are available and mountain bikes can be hired in neraby Mervent.
The area offers much to explore and has a micro-climate giving a good sunshine record. Puy de Fou and Futuroscope theme parks are within easy reach and worth a visit. Local lakes and the Mervent forest are within a few minutes drive or for the fitter amongst us on bikes. Mervent has an adventure course and canoeing/boating facility. Horse riding is popular and the Atlantic coast is good for surfing. The area is great for walks and picnics. Day fishing cards can be purchased in high season.
